Date: 31. July, 2021 Saturday from 5 to 10 pm in the garden of the Schafhof

  • Admission from 3.30 pm - in the case of bad weather the festival is cancelled

„Coole music by a cosy campfire” – this was the original idee by Marc Hanow realized in cooperation with the Schafhof - European Center for Art Upper Bavaria in the framework of the annual theme "Sound" for the frist time on 5 August, 2017. This year we celebrate our 4th anniversary (including the Corona break). 

Invited by the Freising based singer-songwriter duo „Apollon’s Smile“ (Marc Hanow & Julian Hobmeier) several singer-songwriter from Freising and the rest of the world present their musicianship and lead the audience with their handmade music through the "Bonfire Festival".

A festival with a special atmosphere, autobiographical songs and many stories about life - all together around the campfire. 

Excellent catering is provided by the Café Botanika.

Improtant information for the visitors of the festival:

  • Please do not bring food or drinks to the festival.
  • Dogs must be kept on the lead.
  • In the case of bad weather the festival is cancelled. The music acts will take place in digitaler form in the vault of the Schafhof.

Das Titelbild des Flyers über die Kunstwerke im Skulpturengarten im Außenbereich des Schafhofs - Europäisches Künstlerhaus Oberbayern zeigt die Skluptur "SpaceSheep" des ungarischen Künstlers Csongor Szigeti, ein silbernes, halb abstraktes Schaf auf einer Wiese.
