W. A. Mozart: Bastien and Bastienne
A shepherdess opera in the sheep yard for young and old

Where would a ballad opera about a shepherdess by W. A. Mozart be more fitting than in the Schafhof? Mozart's opera, which, by the way, he wrote when he was about 12 years old, modeled on the Opéra comique, contains almost everything needed: Love, jealousy, intrigue, drama, threatened death and - of course - a happy ending. All this in only one act and with only three performers. Beautiful music and amusing texts in between.

A production by Tanja Maria Froidl, who premiered her own ballad opera with music from Mozart's operas at the Schafhof with great success 2 years ago.

Bastienne: Veronika Grießl, soprano
Bastien: Stefan Hör, tenor
Colas: Luis Weidlich, baritone

Marta Kaczmarska, flute
Mona Pishkar, violin
Claudia Bahr, viola
Timea Vujinovic-Toth, piano

Director: Tanja Maria Froidl
