In the framework of the artist exchange with the Center for Polish Sculpture in Orońsko during two periods in autumn 2016 and in spring 2017, six artists each from Poland and from Upper Bavaria were living and working each for 2 months in the respective partner country.

Based on the excellent experiences of the artist exchange with Orońsko and with the aim of a long-term and sustainable outcome the cooperation is planned to continue on a level of an exchange of one artist from each side a year from 2018.

Reniszyn creates objects, photography, multimedia installations and videoperformances. The artist draws attention in his work to the act of art reception through touch. Perception of his objects is dependable on corporeal experience. He investigates situations seemingly without sense, which may appear to be not needed. He uses them as a starting point to build objects, which posses performative potential.

Beata Szczepaniak: About Sculpture - Order

Beata Szczepaniak

born in Zdunska Wola in 1988, lives and works in Poznan
More information: beataszczepaniak.tumblr.com

Her main areas of interest are sculpture, installation and pattern-designing. The central focus of her artistic activities is on form and its embroilment in space. In her works she applies forms, shapes, matters and colours, which, by influencing each other, create defined and highly emotional situations, which in turn comprise a space.
She derives her inspiration from the ongoing processes in nature as well as from the feeling of the things that cannot be observed but can be subconsciously sensed. The attempt to transfer these phenomena into the language of forms is one of her most demanding challenges.
