About the exhibition

The exhibition Research COMMUNITY | PEOPLE got the subtitle Wählen (Voting). It is inspired by the seventieth anniversary of the founding of the German Constitution, artists Stephanie Senge and Tim Bennett take this as an opportunity to focus on Article 5 paragraph 3 (3) of the Constitution: “Art and scholarship, research and teaching shall be free.” The slow and at times violent struggles for universal suffrage and gender equality and the infrastructure and processes they demand are presented theater-like in a complex installation reminiscent of a sprawling museum diorama.
